Looks like no company will be able to go back to office until end of 2022. Even if you get an appointment to get the vaccine they keep postponing it as the Federal Government stopped sending vaccine to the states. Cases worse than they have ever been now in second half of January.
Looks like back to office not until mid 2022. Also, there is no long term testing of vaccine or how long it even will work. Now the new strains are much more deadly and more contagious than previous ones.
LOL. Stop fighting over who or what you think is at fault. Have you noticed the increase in variant strains. Have you also noticed the new guidance is wear two masks. Will the vaccine be effective against what will become the dominant variant. Will the guidance become wear three masks. This is a virus and virus' evolve. Current vaccines will become less effective as new variants emerge.

I am good with working remote and staying that way. Sell some of Corporate Facilities to help cut costs or rent space out to other companies. Nationwide in Des Moines is shedding one of it's buildings. Non-essential WF employees don't need to be in an office. Technology has proven that working remote works, we are still getting our deliverables done from home

They're not begging the federal government to release it- it doesn't exist in those numbers because the previous administration lied about the stockpile we had, and was negligent in forming any plan for distribution or producing more doses.

This post is BS. The vaccines are tested. They are already distributing 1 million doses a day and plans are for the Fed to provide resources to ramp up production and distribution. Other vaccines (J&J 1 dose) will come online to help speed things along. Efficacy has been tested and production/research into next years shots (think Flu seasonal shots) is underway... Let's stop with this nonsense until we see how i plays out over the next few months.
The longer businesses are shut down and people wfh, isn't going to be great for the economy. People's jobs are truly going to suffer. I'm concerned and I want to get back to the office soon and safely but sadly, I do not see that happening and with that, we should all be concerned.

The real medical professionals already said it is more contagious and more deadly. In any case the vaccine will be out soon, once 70% get it reduces risks tremendously.

Usually mutated strains are less deadly. The new strain might be more contagious but less deadly. Learned this in undergrad biosci.
I say send them all back in February 2021. I guess it is a trade off versus health risks.
Good news is it cant get any worse than Jan 2021 with the deaths. We can hope this administration can start moving with some urgency, hopefully will be soon.
It's exceptionally rare for someone not in the "high risk" group to actually die from COVID. Anyone not identified as such should be allowed to go back to work, before we actually do k–l the golden goose. People don't seem to understand that if we don't get the economy going, we will ALL die. There's no good option here, but national s–c-de is clearly the worst.
