Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Can you ask for content in your Performance Review be modified?

I'm new to this. Is it in the process of discussion to request modifications to the content, if you disagree?

why ask? go into the link and login and fix what is wrong; most managers and hr may not be qualified to do these assessments; i am speaking mainly of myself, a Senior Software Engineer, but it could be possible you are in the same position

You can try. I can't find where the system will let you add new information to the 2020 document.

Generally, managers will give employees a chance to discuss their review before they are asked to sign anything. So feel free to request specific wordings be modified before you sign. If your request is refused - this is usually a bad sign - you can add a one pager outlining your version and get it added to your performance files. If you do this, when you sign your performance review, add the words "see attached response".

As a general rule, if managers are not willing to work with an employee on getting agreeable wordings, it might be a sign that you should start looking for other opportunities.

Better to focus on renegotiating your raise.

If you have to ask, you should have worked harder. Really reflect... did you give WF EVERYTHING?!
