Surprise! As of May22nd, 2022, Branch Ops Managers (the new fancy SVM title) with 6 or less employees, excluding managers, are being forced into the first level banker role. Take it or leave it.

I heard from someone who is good friends with a district manager that slowly they are testing out branches without service managers to eliminate the position later on this year or into next year. So the positions are not safe in the near future.

Will there be any changes in pay with the restructuring?

Lead Tellers can lead Agile teams and develop newer codes.

We found out today Lead Tellers will be loosing their titles in April, so Wells is following a Bank of America operating model on the teller line which will a include Teller, Part Time Teller, and Service Manager. Platform will have Personal Banker, Relationship Banker, and Premier Banker with a Branch Manager. It’s now seeming like the Service Manager role is safe (duties may change)
