Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Wells Fargo hires Michelle Moore, the former Bank of America digital executive

Oh look, another expensive executive was brought in to help Wells Fargo.

I’m so annoyed that we have to find out through the media vs. a company wide email

The AI Enterprise Services group is another useless set of bodies. Other than perhaps one individual they hired from IBM, most of the team have no idea what they are doing. it's almost comical the amount of time they spent managing their AI "opportunities" spreadsheet. Both AIES and DMI orgs need to be downsized by at least 50% since their orgs currently consist of overpaid non-engineers pretending to do data work.

The whole Innovation piece is now a joke.

LF simply was nowhere near SE.

Lisa Frazier liked to think she was so great, ms innovation. She got eaten up and spit out on the big stage. She will go back to consulting work. She’s no executive and certainly no leader, her attitude is repulsive

It's like hiring retread head coaches in football. They may the experience to run the team, but the game is passing them by. It's a safe and predictable move, although it would have been nice to get someone outside of banking. Hopefully she'll clean up the pile of garbage that Frazier left behind. Millions of dollars spent on "innovation", but very little to show for it. It's a boondoggle.

One would think based on the quality of all the other talent WF brought over from BofA they would have realized the mistakes they made.
There's an old saying about the definition of insanity....

Really great to see the worthless Lisa Frazier “pursuing opportunities outside Wells Fargo “ .

Michelle Moore has been irrelevant since “Me and Roger”.

I’m sure that Scharf and Daley will be first to the party.

Every big company right now thinks throwing millions at a new digital savior and team will secure the company’s future.

Nothing wrong with that if they didn’t lay off thousands to do it.

Meanwhile those at the bank making 150k or more are considered highly paid employees and cannot get a token raise...

I’m skeptical of this move. The digital space here is full of overpaid people tripping over each other.

Yet another executive isn’t going to help when the bottleneck is aging backend and utterly swamped dev teams in particular areas that other teams can’t move forward without.
