Too bad, so sad, guess you'll have to find some other way to get away from the fam.

Here's a thought - file for divorce.

Dude, 2020 was the largest mortgage market in history. History!!! If you didn’t make more money this year than you ever had there is something wrong with you. 2. Were in a global pandemic, this has nothing to do with cost it has to do with putting together an event with thousands of people at a resort.....which physically can’t happen right now. C. You are an id–t.

You didn’t get paid commission for your sales? I think you should quit and go work at another company who is still throwing lavish drunken parties for sales people. When you find that company, come back here, and post the name of the company so other self-absorbed, entitled clowns know where to go for their next job.

At first I thought his post was a joke, it's so angry and stream-of-consciousness. Where have you been since MARCH, OP???? Could this possibly be your first experience with a usually-in-person event going virtual? I don't always have a lot of sympathy for our employer, but this is a classic case of "you can't win for losing". Have an in-person event, and folks (like me) will balk. Go the conservative route, follow CDC guidelines etc. and someone (who lives in an alternate reality, apparently) will be incensed by it.

I get it, we all see a vaccine on the horizon and in some ways, it makes restrictions chafe more because we normalcy feels so CLOSE. But shouting at the rain while we wait is not helpful.

The sense of entitlement is shocking. We've got people losing their jobs all over the place, and this person is worried about their company-paid vacations / drunken shenanigans adventures. Good grief. This person is completely out of touch with reality.

OP doesn’t realize there is a pandemic on. Must be that right wing nut that wants to trash masks.

Wells got slammed in 2008/9 for the Bahamas mortgage sales conference and other meetings during the recession. Said wells was partying on bailout funds. For almost four years after that all offsite meetings had names that were intentionally vague like “ leadership and values” and never
Mentioned the host name. When you arrived at the hotel you had to make sure you remembered whatever id–tic name the meeting had because no one at the hotel would admit there was a wells meeting there. Other companies did the same. Because if you didn’t your hotel placard was blasted all over the internet claiming you were dancing on the bodies of laid off workers. Ask anyone at Goldman Sachs or a big investment firm about those days. With Covid and the large layoffs planned sales Conf would be tone deaf for now. It s—s but there will be other years.

OP is totally out of line. We at Meetings and Events have gone above and beyond to replace the experiences of all of the Sales conferences which were cancelled. Far from “screw the little people with a virtual award presentation”, we arranged a COVID safe extravagant night out at Ruby Skye, even with private rooms for extreme social distancing. Great bands, top notch service and all of the best service and top notch liquor.

OP has likely been missing his/her sales targets for years. There would be no other reason for not being invited. We did see an angry individual pounding on the door. Could be the entitled OP, but not sure of that.

We are still in the middle of a pandemic. What kind of person are you? A sales person.

Oh, soooo sorry that you can't get in person gifts and attend events. That money should be spent for your emotional support.

But, did you get paid for your work?
