I heard of plans from a visit that they are going to train reps to deliver phones to customers, like same day delivery reps? From the store locally in the works?

I live in California. Our retail store has been doing same day delivery for way over a year now. It’s not the reps that do it. It’s a third party that comes and picks it up and then delivers. Verizon isn’t going to send reps from the store to deliver phones. Way too much liability and all different kinds of bad scenarios that could happen.
So basically the same thing that Amazon does but for 3 times the price? Genius...
It’s just in ispu but a delivery service comes picks up the order and delivers the phone. We have been doing this for months in some stores in the south area
I did an upgrade today and same day delivery was an option. I'm not in retail so I didn't know if this was new or not. I live in Southern Virginia
Saw that we are going to charging 17.99 for same day something is happening
Verizon is going to be liable for Verizon reps driving around dropping off phones.... They had already started this in California. I don't know what happened to the program but I believe they were using post mates.
Stores are still packed sooooo your wrong
This was actually talked and tested out some years ago somewhere in the Northwest, guys and gals I’m really not trying to be cynical or pessimistic or anything like that. However it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that customers (not just Verizon customers) are all about digital. Trust me, I’d love to say that that wasn’t the case, that’s wrong information so on and so forth, but just follow the industry trends. Think about it, if I am someone who happens to be super paranoid about Covid and I can have my phone delivered right to my house and dropped off at my doorstep that same day and I’m somewhat tech savvy about moving my own stuff over, or I can call customer service and have them walk me through it. Why would I want to go to the store? Besides let’s be honest with each other, after the commission structure change and everything else within retail that affected our high-performing reps, most of what’s left in the store is nothing but a bunch of bottom feeding reps who couldn’t hit water if they fell out of a boat on a lake. Let alone hit quota. If your lifestyle can support making what you’re going to make at Verizon stores now as a clerk and your management team is somewhat decent, and it’s not full of drama, then you have to ask yourself do I really have it that bad working here?
Nothing new but won't ever be Verizon employees.
Someone is confused of misinformed. We don’t deliver a third party does. We have been doing this for some time already
Has any one ever used this site with out ad block? They must make so much money off of p–p like this!
I heard an SM saying something similar to this, I thought they were full of sh–. I definitely didn't sign up to be gig worker.
