I think it’s a valid question. With all the layoffs, how are they improving minority hiring when they should not be hiring? I think we all know the answer but they will never admit it. They are systematically getting rid of anyone with experience. Good luck with that.

The "e" was added by the new hire. It stands for 'equity' or something. Because Diversity and Inclusion wasn't stupid enough.
OK. I’ll bite. What does the “E” which you added to D&I stand for? It’s ok to come out and let us know here. We support you and you can bring your whole self here.
To the OP:
It's only a valid question if you don't understand D&I, or why Wells is pushing it.
Why are there so many people moaning about D&E on a layoff website?
You must have something better to do, like, I don't know, finally get around to hanging that painting of Robert E. Lee you got for your birthday.
India, Philippines, etc. They don't say where the hiring happens.
Hypocrisy at its finest. Thats why they can never get to JpmC or bofa level.
I agree banking took a nosedive when the experienced folks walked out the door. That's partially why the company is in the shape it's in. Not only does the experience leave but this company does nothing to train and prepare the folks that come after.
BTW, some departments are hiring even while other departments are seeing layoffs.
Post ID: @riq+18jw95OW It is easier for management to perpetrate problematic schemes with inexperienced and eager-to-please employees. The last thing they want is anyone asking intelligent questions that might get in the way of their questionable practices.
Call me old. I'm experienced. Which means not only WAS I loyal, I could train less experienced employees in compliance and policy to ensure they don't do anything detrimental to YOUR company and your reputation. Why do companies not want experienced employees? Is the small amount of money you save worth the risk of losing people who keep you running smoothly? Good riddance.
The sooner everyone realizes that Wells Fargo is all smoke and mirrors, the easier your job will be.
They love to talk the talk, but rarely walk the walk. Their strategy has always been to inundate, distract and delay with talk about big plans and goals that never actually pan out. That is why our technology is so out-of-date, we are still under the asset cap, Charlie hired 8 white men for senior exec positions, we keep piling on more and more “middle-school level” required annual training, and we are still preaching D and I.
Smoke and mirrors. That is the real Wells Fargo.
Consider it the least in terms of diversity and turning your back on the country that supported this company for almost 160 years !!
Is the process of shifting jobs in India considered diversity hiring?
