Unused PTO hours typically go to us in Meetings and Events as we work most weekends on the road and really far too many hours to get time comped. It’s rough but we make do and the PTO bucket really does boost morale.
I sure felt that way when manager was reading me the notice. After 13 years in several positions never would have imagined this happening to me...and others with 2 years or less and coming to work hung over still there...smh....we shall move on
As noted you'll be paid out for accrued PTO. Be aware, at least in California, it's taxes pretty steep. Treated like a bonus.
They will pay you for your unused PTO
I’ll get my PTO paid out as long as I sign the separation letter
they will pay out unused PTO after the notice period (60 days).
If accrued, paid out. It's on teamworks
Depends what state you’re in. In California you get paid for them.
You'll be paid out for your unused PTO directly after your termination.
