Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

New look of Truist Tower irks some in Charlotte

Can you feel the love, the beginning of the end!

“Note to Truist: this is not a proud moment. You ruined a gorgeous building with cheap and awful looking signage,” tweeted another.

And one person tweeted that the sign was “hideous.”

Your right on, it was a stupid idea and nothing positive has come from this merger from mass layoffs to incompetent people being promoted with ridicules bonuses being paid out to the Good Ole Boy's. The biggest loss to the bank are the employees who made BB&T what it was, Who they are or what they do (Truist), isn't a pass to treat you like trash, and that is certainly what they did.

The whole merger has the “feel” that Kelly and Bill’s egos generated a stupid idea, their executive yes-men were too afraid to offer an honest opinion, and now we are all going through the motions just waiting for its ultimate demise...I mean, holy cow, everything about this has been thrown together without proper thought, and there is a palpable absence of positivity from ANYONE - save Kelly’s shameful performances...

True, even Chris Henson, BB&T's COO said burgundy blood flowed through his veins.

I love the color, the old BB&T color looked like dried blood.

Something about the Truist branding just screams tacky! Ugh, at least the BB&T logo seemed more stately and "bankish" but the hideous purple feels cheap. I know a lot of the marketing folks, and the brand launch landed with a big thud. We all cringed and questioned who in the heck was making these decisions.

Ha, Again, great marketing on Truist's end. I'm sure the purple stationary's a hit to. Almost forgot, Seeds of hope:)
