Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

And i just got “displaced” this morning

They wont tell me the parameters about who gets displaced but someone told me it’s seniority. I think theyre reducing pb1s and cssrs

Their objective is to reduce cost company wide. As a result they are cutting the higher cost employees and keeping lower paid employees. That’s why the most senior people are being let go.

Seniority or ratings had nothing to do with it. And front line managers or even DM’s didnt play a role in deciding. It was some id–ts on an analytics department that make the decisions and take emotions out of it.

I’m just it has to do with who is at the top of their pay scale, more cost effective. It’s a typical cost cutting technique, albeit sh–ty.

Evaluations did not play a role. Exceptional team members are being let go.

issue is evaluations being done by unqualified managers and other supporting staff

Pretty soon that teller who’s a pb1 will be moved to a project manager and then into an engineering manager role. Mark my words

They displaced three pb1s and keep the new pb1 that was just promoted from being a teller but still work as a teller with a pb1 pay.

How many complaints did you log?

Definitely not seniority. Someone in our district got displaced after 10 years and someone in a district in AZ had 17 years... so I don't think seniority or tenor has anything to do with it 🤷‍♀️

Well i dunno about that coz my evals were good and i brought in good surveys but oh well it is what it is. I was the last pb1 to come in so i was the first one out the door

I heard that evaluations play a bigger role than seniority
