your managers would sell you down the river in a heart beat any way. This is truth
Agreed:
It would be looked down on, but frankly who cares.
The company does not care about you and your managers would sell you down the river in a heart beat any way.
Take off enjoy your family and enjoy the holiday.
Care reps are being outsourced...why do you think everything is a mess and managers are not available or respond when you need them? No ranking system anymore. They are pushing self serve more than ever with smart links, my verizon. Have you called other departments? Core, business, FS etc...all you get on the other line is an outsourced rep. I give the WFH reps another year tops before they completely sell us off.
You can use uia however you want. But do keep in mind that you will lose the holiday pay. A lot of people don't realize that part. If you can manage to work at least 1/2 your shift then you will still get your holiday pay.
Nothing they can do about it

You can use uia however you want. You don’t even need to give a reason.
