No
ICS doesn’t seem like they can afford deep cuts right now.
am being told that Jaunary will see more impacts in IT org , specifically in ICS.
If you don't include some clues as to where you heard a date, then we assume you're just making up the date.
And 12/22 is ridiculous.
To the folks who say "stop worrying about getting layed off" what are you doing here if you're so secure in your job?
I think this is why Wells is in so much trouble, we don't seem to be sending our best people.
Perhaps if everyone assumes (and posts) that everyday is the “layoff day” then WF won’t lay anyone off because it would appear info was leaked
So much speculation on what dates layoffs will occur. Who cares! Layoffs will happen, why do people on this site have to know the date...once again! Who cares! If you are on a list to be cut, you are getting cut!
I was told by someone in HR that all layoffs will be done the 3rd Thursday of any given month. They said it was the new protocol, so if that's the case it would be December 17th. I wish you all luck!
Glad you all are in a happy place!
So unpredictable !
Soon may have to kiss the new misery "Good Bye". What is that saying "the kiss of death". Yeah. Just all waiting to get laid off now. What motivation is there for the remaining employees?
I can't don't remember what the date is, but there is a date soon where they pause any displacements until the new year. I suspect we are almost there, if we aren't already.
Just out of curiosity, where do you hear about those dates? The dates are only known by HR or Senior Execs. Not sure why they would give out dates on a random site. What do they have to gain from this?
It's this week at Samsung
12/15 is the last date of the year. Resumes again 1/12
They typically like to tell you while you're using the head at work... Now they try to stick to birthdays.
I heard 12/25 is the real date...Hooo Hooo Merry Xmas!!!!!!!!!!!1
No way, common sense. The 22 is Xmas week, which many many people will take off. Plus WF doesn't want to be in the news for laying off folks 3 days before Xmas.
I heard Dec 14 but nothing about 22nd. Also heard April is going to be a huge amount of people.
