Any ideas on what's going to be hit today?

I work in IT and I work with lots of Corp Finance folks and I've heard nothing.
Doens't mean it didn't happen, just hoping someone can give a few hints about where or who.
This slow motion layoff is brutal. We've lost a few key people we relied on to get things done. It appears to be an HR driven layoff, not direct manager.
@lbq+18dEOVUG you mean sh–?
Lots of Corporate Finance and IT people were let go on 12/1 (yesterday). Severance package is 60 days paid + 2 weeks for each year of service. Layoffs were determined based on "business need", in some cases entire groups of people were let go. Also in some cases people were asked to stick around for a few extra days. Managers and HR were allowed input in the decision making.
Wells Fargo is truly pathetic to surprise people with this at year-end during the holidays. It's "noble" of them to continue to pay for another 60days but many of these people are due to recieve bonuses in March 2021 that they earned in 2020. Since they are no longer employed by Wells, they are now forfeiting their bonus.
Heard a bunch of branches were done on yesterday.
Mud, or “Muddled”, level are where the lowest level lifer managers generally wallow for a career.
Somebody said tomorrow its the branches turn 😂😂😂....wait a minute that's where I work 👀👀👀
it tomorrow
Never heard of “mud level” what is that?
Mud level...so Saul and the other JP refugees got cut loose?
OP reminds me of the excited coworkers who loved seeing people get laid off and then gossip and joke about it later
IT managers were notified on 12/1. Mud level and low level.
Not today. Tomorrow branches turn.
