What does this have to do with layoffs?

Does ANYONE at Wells Fargo get by on their own merit, not by kissing arse???

Not in marketing.

“Marketing is definitely NOT safe”......

You mean my manager is lying? No way. All we hear about is how the LOBs love us so much they’re going to get rid of their outside agencies and bring the work in- house.

Surely it must be true.

Cracks me up to see all these Wells Fargo Marketing employees and leadership falling all over themselves congratulating her in her new role (newly created!), hoping she'll get them a job at Nielsen so they can get the heellll out of Wells Fargo.

Does ANYONE at Wells Fargo get by on their own merit, not by kissing arse???

So pathetic.

It’s almost a new year, which means new cuts. Do you really think that an lob will do cuts one year and then be safe there after? They took care of low hanging fruit before. Now it starts to get painful.

Marketing is definitely NOT safe. We just got wind of a huge budget cut fo 2021 programs. Do you think that if programs are cut/eliminated, they will keep the same number of marketing managers?

Marketing is safe. They did their cuts last year.

This is without a doubt the worst place I have ever worked! They follow no labor laws nor do they care about laws or ethics!

A good lesson for most on this board, stop complaining because no one wants to hear you.. and if you don't like your situation find another job.

Her new leadership, especially the men, had better start practicing their pucker. Kissing up will definitely be required.

Poor them. They bought a resume but they didn’t hire an accomplished person. Now they get to watch as she breaks what’s working, complicates process, adds layers, and creates endless pointless busywork. While the quality of their marketing goes nowhere but down.

Good luck to her new team.

She's barely sizzle and absolutely NO steak.

How people like her have reached such high ranks is beyond me. She created the WF Marketing Monster that is now being dismantled at the painful cost to many employees being laid off.

It’s all a kind of nepotism in those ranks. Probably knew where she would land before she left.

Used to be the Peter Principal would kick in and stop the upward momentum. Guess things have changed.
