Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Layoff while on PTO? What happens? Any suggestions before people are locked out by end of notification day?

  1. What happens if you are on PTO and are on the layoff list? Do they just call you or wait until you are back to work?
  1. Since they are now indicating that the day of notification is your last day, Are people canceling any approved PTO between now and end of year, so the company has to pay you out for it?

I think it's important to plan for the worst, given all of the less than transparent activity taking place.

Please post any other suggestions for that last day of prepping, before people are locked out of systems.

download TurboScan to your iPhone and take photo's of your laptop screen for each page of the document. TurboScan will then convert the photo's to a PDF.

S—s that you cant print anything or send it to your personal email address even securely (wont open on the other end). Not having access to office printer has jacked up a lot.

Any suggestions how to gather material? Just take pics with phone?

We will call you on your PTO and tell you your employment has been terminated

Back up your phone if you have any pics or contacts you want to transfer.

I know you are not supposed to have personal files on the work computer, but I did. I transferred any personal files, personal emails, business contacts, etc to my home. I kept any proof of successful projects I had a role in, changes I had spearheaded, suggestions I had made and problems I had solved, etc to keep my memory fresh for interviews. I also copied and kept my performance reviews. Basically, take now anything you might later regret not having access to. Survival of the fittest.

I am just using my PTO like I normally would rather than attempting to outguess management.
