Anybody else get the sneaky "shared success" email this week that was actually a solicitation to "Redeem your safety kit now".
Within the message were instructions stating that "once you recieve your kit, please set it aside until you return to the office".
So folks, what does THAT tell you...?
First, it tells us that "The Leadership" thinks employees don't read the usual robo-boilerplate emails. Can't say I disagree on that.
Second, it tells us that return to Cubicle Land is imminent. The "current operating model" goes until April 1st (April Fool's Day), but after that - we don't know when. But we know it's coming.
Prediction: There will be a spike in voluntary turnover in Q2. Especially after bonuses are paid out (in the next 60 days). Many people are NOT going to want to go back into the offices.
Layoff implications would be that fewer people would have to be involuntarily eliminated for management to make their numbers.
