Did Empower send out emails yet? Today is Friday 1/15 and I haven't received mine so I'm wondering if they botched that job?

@1wxy+18TxEPbg, the 4th quarter match is in your transaction history as an entry for 12/31/20 on the OLD site.

1) Login at wellsfargo.com
2) Open your 0 balance 401k plan
3) Go to "My Account->Account History->Transaction History" and initiate the search

4Q match looks like it is in Empower transaction history. The main deposit of the balance from last year is 1 transaction and there is a transaction for what it looks like the match can/should be.

Will the 401k be integrated back into the wf mobile banking app or do we have to use the empower app?

Did anyone see the 4th quarter match anywhere? If so, where?

Thanks and that is much better.

For those who are not following. You can go to WellsFargo.com and login to your your online account. The old 401k will show as an account with a 0 balance and you can click on it to get to old statements and history.

Go to team works and pull up your December 24th pay voucher and it will show you the "Year To Date WF 401(k)" contribution. This is the money YOU put in (not the match). You can confirm that by adding up your "YTD Regular Pay" and "Incentive Award Discretionary" amounts and then multiply by your contribution percent (ex. $90,000 pay plus $10,000 bonus = $100,000 total * 15% for a hypothetical contribution of $15,000. Then a 6% match means an employer contribution of another $6,000 which isn't on the pay voucher). Yikes, but maybe helpful to you.

On Empower I don't see a way to tell about last year but you can see the overall division of contributions. Go to "Account->Balance" and you will see what came from you, profit sharing, and matching over the entire life of the account.

@fwv+18TxEPbg The old WF internal 401k site is now back up. You can pull historical info there. At least till April 15th.

@skr+18TxEPbg, the error returned by Empower isn't a training issue. They seems to be going up and down at the moment. I got in fine this morning, then had the errors a bit ago, got back in and added my contingent beneficiaries but got errors again when saving (they did stick though), and now it is working again.

Maybe too many Wells Fargo people checking it out? :)

You have my vote ro lead the training on 401k basics for the vast amount of our coworkers. It actually frightens me that the low information posters in this thread may indeed be coworkers walking among us.

It's the top link on your Teamworks Shortcuts. Looks great to me. As a person that hits the IRS max every year, I like the nifty calculator that allows you to see the impact of changing your contribution percentage. No more math required, just reduce the rate until going any lower drops below the $19,500 limit and forget it! There's even a nifty 'plan messages' field with handy reminders, like the deadline to change contribution limits for your bonus pay check is 1159pm on Jan 22. There's a lot more to being an administer of a 401(k) plan than just a nice web site, but so far I like Empower.

I was able to get right to my account from Teamworks on my work laptop without having to create an account or anything so it looks to be part of Channel Secure, and it looks good. Thank goodness.
