Part time for everyone?

See I understand part time is their goal but at least in my area we are so understaffed that stores have to close Sunday and a day during the week because they only have enough reps for one shift. Personally I think Verizon over played it’s hand and you won’t see retail change much for a few years. I think the old plan was to drive us away but now they trapped themselves. Especially until the pandemic is over hiring is basically impossible.

post @2xie+18AvXcoi / I think about this a lot. My store is understaffed too and it's creating big problems, on the other hand, all indications are that they aspire to get everyone to part-time status.

Now with the upgrade ratio and adding a line percentage on the commission tabulation, the days of the non-stop customer whining about upgrades in the corporate stores should be just about over! The only time an upgrade should be done is when there is a lost or broken phone and the upgrade with the add aline. The training of the masses continues

I agree. Sundays we should be closed, reduced to 7 pm throughout the week, and retire the jail wear...we look ridiculous. Have us work 4 10’s to reduce staff over-cross as well. Keep the BPK OUTSIDE LIKE AN ATM.

I believe this will be rolled out and implemented by the 2nd quarter! Also,team commission will not go away with surveys controlling the multipliers thus the payout. Its despicable when you have the general public buying a commodity product is controlling your commission while the company is instructing us not to do phone content and appointment based while waiting an hour in their car to buy an out of stock IPhone is all the experience for failure in the survey and is planned by the company . Our store does phone content and we stand there and stare at the phone for a half hour.Our customers actually think we did it! With all that,I believe they will roll part ti.e out sooner than later and offer a package like they did in August 2020 for stores that were overstaffed. Also getting rid of a SM in the near term is a possibility.

If you're staffing is low your DM can adjust your hours. We have been open 10-6 for like 4 months. We have other stores that are closed sunday because that works better with their staff. Just open your mouth and stop being afraid it's 2.0

My store is running at 1/2 staffed with covid leave and we can’t physically run a store properly. This company needs to adjust hours permanently. No one is coming out after 6 and if necessary, customers can go elsewhere such as a reseller. This company doesn’t realize it’s crushing morale and you’re burning out the rest of the employees that are stuck working at the store when it’s not necessary. You almost had us bought in when you closed us on Sundays, but that was short lived when we got back into the stores. You’re not listening to your front line employees!! Get these stupid uniforms off of us, reduce hours and close us on Sundays! This company would save so much money to not pay us differential pay.
