Why is it a good idea to outsource only basic IT, processing jobs, and call centers? Send the IT senior executive jobs there too. Saul, you’re out. Let’s outsource it all. If our executive team strongly believes that work can be done cheaper, and as good or better in India and the Philippines, than why not send it all over there? If the only goal is to make as much money as possible, then let’s get serious. Maximizing profits is everything. Charlie - sorry, but I’m pretty sure there is a properly educated gentleman in India who would do your job for $100,000/ year. You’re definitely out.
There are highly educated resourceful men in other parts of the world who could do the whole C-Suite’s jobs, for pennies on the dollar. In fact, they would probably do a better job, because they haven’t been handed everything in life. And who says the BOD jobs can’t be outsourced? Seriously, what do they do that can’t be done better and cheaper in another country. HR? You’re out of here. Compliance? Please. Banking? I do everything online at Ally, and I never see my FA. Trading? Automate it. Investment Institute, research can only be done by US citizens? You’re out too. And It certainly would improve our D&I numbers. Send all of the Wells Fargo jobs to many different countries, and you’ve met your D&I goals.
In fact, let’s send all American jobs overseas. You don’t want to go to India to see your doctor? Well those hospital conglomerates need to maximize profits too.
