Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Confirm Positive Covid test.....still open

So we had someone in our still catch the covid and they are keeping us open because the dude didn’t have “symptoms” when we was working but test positive ..wtf!

If you gonna play the “keep them open because of Black Friday card” fine but quit telling us how you care about employee safety, 80% of the staff in my store was exposed from this employee yet if we want to get tested we have to use UIA or PTO!

Just mind blowing how they are prioritizing profits over safety.....

Honestly, this is most retail locations. Not just VZ. Imagine if your local grocery closed every time one of its workers that work with the public tests positive. You would never be able to buy food.

Until they establish a cluster of transmission...it all will stay open. If that's not for you, time to find a work from home job.

This is true, I was told by the Verizon Covid tadk team that if they test positive and aren't experiencing symptoms while in the store they will not close it. Verizon does not care about you. Do what you think is right.

yeah I find this hard to believe almost every store in our district has been closed once twice or three times because of covid. However one that I'm unsure of the time line, is opening back up on Black Friday.

Umm first off thats BS..... Answer your RTO daily survey honestly and they cant do that.
Second if you need to get tested you don't need to use time off to do it... you can literally put the form in online and send your GM a text saying you aren't coming in because you have to go get tested. But keep trying to distort the truth.
