“Too many non performers riding along”
Teams with 50% or more non performers and managers turning a blind eye and are only interested in further team building to protect their a– by having a ton of direct’s...
Insular organization. "Old boy" network operating like it's 1980's. Very resistant to industry best practices. Zero management will to confront and demand compliance. I know risk managers who adopt a completely laissez-faire attitude towards policies and controls, for example. They are so tired of pushback that they've given up. Bullies everywhere that overcome any threat to the status quo. Watch with the layoffs, they'll protect their own and many good people will be let go.
Too many non performers riding along
Backbone-less/inept Compliance organization. Instead of performing oversight, acts as an apologists for the businesses they are to keep watch of. Compliance allows the businesses to talk themselves out of findings all the time. Watered down issues are written and then vague actions plans are put in place. The i's are dotted and the t's crossed in SHRP but nothing really gets corrected.
poor leadership and inability to execute effectively
They got so used to cutting corners and cheating they have no idea how to make an honest buck.
Horrible management and lack of holding toxic, low performing staff accountable. The quickest way to lose a good employee, is to witness the mis-management of a bad one.
