Head of Cyber Security Defense & Monitoring... Gone...

TB is finally gone... Cough.. Retiring... Cough.. One of the most useless and ineffective leaders ever. never willing to do anything about anything which led to creating some very toxic direct reports and a huge pool of arrogance in the fusion center.

He will not be missed.

TB was a horrible leader who wanted people to "get along" and did not want to deal with the difficult stuff which is a sign of a good leader. When you have people in your org who are toxic, who yell at people, who treat people poorly and you have the nerve to sit back and do nothing about it???

For the person who wants to employ the “Deep Fake” when it comes to my name - those that know me - know reality. TB leaving is a loss of a great cyber leader to any organization. However. lucky for WF that he leaves behind an incredible cyber threat workforce and team. Sometimes one of the hardest things a leader needs to do is leave so others may have the opportunity to grow. TB thanks for your leadership and always putting your people first and providing opportunities for others to adapt and mature as cyber leaders. Depart leaving you know you made a positive difference.

this is great news. A LOT of people just lost their top cover. Good ole TB will no longer be around to ignore complaints and turn a blind eye.

Time passed TB by decades ago. Maybe we can get a replacement with a post 70’s skill set.

OP: to say your original post is a joke would be an understatement. I work in Tech/ICS, and TB leaving is a big loss.

Maybe you don't understand the complexities of protecting a large FI from ongoing cyber attacks and internal threats. Wait, maybe you're in IT and are one of the slugs who doesn't want to patch your systems or write secure code because it's too much work.

must be nice to have been raking in that kind of money while sitting back and doing absolutely nothing.

people have suffered under your watch. complaints were filed against some of your direct reports for toxic, bullying behavior. And, what did you do about it? NOTHING.

I hope the next leader that comes to replace TB is worth every penny of the $800k compensation package that is being advertised.

The old wach guard that’s shockingly had a stronghold on info sec since the merger (how? Lol! ) is on its way out while GO brings in useless outsiders.
