Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Mandy, where are our backfills?????

Giving us temporary backfills for permanent work is an insult and a joke. We have banded together - nothing is getting done and we are going to go public with what is really happening in RISK. Regulators will know and so will Congress. Can’t wait to watch you and Chuckie slither in your chairs when maxi baby and Congress grills you over the mess you have made. Oh, by the way, there really is a hiring freeze in the 2nd line of defense.

Most likely aren’t backfilling until spans and layers are done. You cannot justify hiring when you have to also cut in the team due to spans and layers.

You don't need them, there are already way too many people for the workload.

this place probably wont make it. way too many executive and management mistakes, rookie ones.

Place has become WWIII and is an absolute nightmare as those who were once team members that turned to employees. This is a big sign it will not survive.

Do your best to leave otherwise choose to ride this rocky environment out. Bonuses will be slashed, people layed off, no replacements. Company owe's more debt than it brings in. I wont be survived if they just break it up and sell off to other companies who can pay the highest dollar

Board of Directors failed the company bad. Not sure if this was their diretion.

I personally am working in a gang team people who do things old ways , so really not sure how they will get new jobs in any means. Personally I can make more money elsewhere with less of a headache than here. Also you have to think about your health that should be your priority.
They are keeping things very manual to try to protect their jobs, but guys that wont do it. They can just rebuild what you have now pretty easily and even better, even bringing in a top tier consulting companies to do this for you. So that approach wont help.

I truly wish you do not get walked out, but i would recomend updating your skills as soon as you can. Your last day is coming soon. You need to be prepared.
