It's not easy finding a new job right now. Not because people are bad at what they do, but because there're so many people being laid off in the entire industry that those rare companies that are hiring really can choose the cream of the already amazing crop. Even if you are confident you're safe, I'd advise at least keeping your LinkedIn updated and having your resume ready to go.

OP must be trash and have no marketable skills then. Droves of companies are looking for help right now with the shift since covid. Best part is many are remote.
HPI is hiring a few people and it helps if you are female or a minority. It's a bad time to be a white male right now. If you can relocate to Austin, you might be able to eventually get a job but HR has delayed hiring at most companies. Amazon is one of the few companies that is hiring but I hear their interview process for engineers is brutal.
