I was recently promoted to a (lower level) leadership position at Wells Fargo. I now have access to information such as Ethics Line violation complaints. I am also part of the investigation team for retaliation complaints. My two-level up manager gave me an "ad hoc assignment." In completing the assignment, I realized that there are literally THOUSANDS of employees who were directly involved or implicated in the accounts scandal and HUNDREDS of managers and leadership who were also either directly or indirectly involved who are STILL EMPLOYED AT WELLS FARGO.
Several of these people were "moved" to function under the "new" leadership of specific individuals at Wells Fargo.
Many of these people have been "promoted" to higher and better positions within the company.
A LARGE MAJORITY of these individuals are making the LAYOFF DECISIONS right now as we speak.
How can this be?
I am certain that my two-level up manager is involved. I know for sure that my three-level up manager is involved.
I have spoken with team members (now "employees") who know first-hand that there are at least two major scandals that are still being run within Wells Fargo but that have not hit the media yet.
There are employees who have tried to report information through the Ethics Line that has been intercepted. Those employees now appear on the "Layoffs List."
How is it that Wells Fargo is still policing itself? The Ethics Line is not a legitimate reporting channel. They are protecting criminals who are still working at the company and releasing the people with high morals and high standards.
Does anyone else out there know about this or about what is going on?
How can this still be happening?
