And I’m jumping this ship. I got a job paying 50% more with a company that cares about people. I haven’t felt this happy in a long time. Don’t give up folks. There are good companies out there and Wells isn’t one of them. Let the incompetent old guard go down with THEIR ship.

Company is useless! Pay s—s too, they prob are stealing my money in my bank account too, ill have to do an audit hope they didnt steal it all

I agree to an extent but any job with a publicly traded company is going to be in jeopardy when things aren't going well. Been there and done that my whole career. Sooner or later corporate America s—s the life out of you or kicks you to the curb. Sometimes both.
Go outside of this bank and us 50+ folks aren't represented proportionally to the population.
We should be 1/4 of the staff but you never see it.
@xuh here. Not convinced, sorry. It has nothing to do with living and having experience. It has everything to do with writing style similarities, language and viewpoint. Partially it is that I would be disappointed to think that, at the time, 2 out of 8 of my fellow employees would be inspired to bring down someone reporting good news. I’m fortunate enough to not have even 1 person that ugly in my circle, much less 2.
@xuh+17jgRvDe - No idea what you're talking about. Guess you're not a brain surgeon. Logged in this morning and came up as @oop+17jgRvDe and haven't checked back since. IMO, the grass is always greener on the other side. Based on my experience, you can start a new job and everything is fine. A few management restructures later, you end up with basically the same frustrations. That's been my experience and you can agree or not - it's just an opinion.

I laugh at people bragging on their new jobs and once they take off the rose colored glasses, they're ready to jump that ship, also.

It's a rotten horrific place that treats employees like s**t. So glad he/she found another home. Sadly I have not. Will be retiring soon.....what a long journey of watching a great company spiral out of control due to incompetent individuals moved to "leadership" roles they could not fill. Skill and leadership are not the same thing.
OP: FYI, not all old guard employees are incompetent. And some of us were originally on good ships that were later hijacked by Wells Fargo pirates. But having said that, I celebrate you moving on to happier waters and I encourage everyone to do so.
Disregard @oop’s sad assessment of other companies and jobs. If believing “it’s bad everywhere” allows him/her to accept their fate here, that says more about their view of the world than what the reality is.
All of Corporate America is not mired in fraud, scandal, regulatory issues, and a revolving door of CEO’s. Not all companies have seen their stock price be cut in half this year, have sliced their dividend by 80%, and have committed to kicking 1 out of 4 employees to the curb.
Some companies are in growing, thriving, evolving industries. Some companies are led by CEOs who value their employees, their customers, and their communities.
No job/company is going to perfect, but don’t let apathetic people keep you from trying for a healthy happy fulfilling work life.
Be happy that he’s leaving on his terms and he’s happy. Don’t $hi+ on his happiness.
You probably thought the same thing when you started at WF and look how that worked out. Get back to us when you have a couple of years at your new company and tell us again how great it is. Corporate America is what it is.
