Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Has anyone noticed

Has anyone noticed how when the economy is going up and employees have the flexibility to change companies the corporate attitude is all about mental health and making sure your employees are happy but the second there’s an economic downturn all of that goes out of the window and you’re expected to dedicate your entire life to the company??

Now that you mention it, I haven't had my backside properly smooched in over a year.

It's almost as if Wells knows the job market it tight and they want to shed headcount anyway.

I actually blame the pandemic, the stalled location strategy, and just overall bad management.

There have been reports that Wells did not get the attrition they hope for, though, so maybe they really are as awful as the OP's question suggests.

Wells staying on brand.

Reading Is Fundamental, @usw. That’s not what @tmx wrote at all. Try again.

I get what OP is saying. @ekj states it properly. Wells Fargo puts on a show that they value employees when unemployment is low. But with earnings out the window + fines in the billions of $ + a pandemic: they are cold as ice.

Zero respect. Zero communication. Zero leadership. Zero inspiration. Zero rallying the troops.

yeah - buyer's market right now and lots of competition with other sellers (of skills and available time). SUpply and demand.

No. The economy is still in a rut. Don't understand your question.

Not sure what your talking about;

Just prepare yourself and have something else you can move to fast. The company prefer people resign to save them money.
