heard location strategy is alive and well, but COVID has put a damper on plans. That being said, anyone have any intel on if they will offer relocation to employees to move to a new city or will it just be sorry your position is eliminated if you're not in a core metro?
I know Technology offered packages earlier in the year, so more curious on other areas in particular corporate risk as I am in that group.
Asking about this stuff you don't get any straight answers so if anyone knows anything it would be nice to know at least rumours. I know some won't move, even if offered, but at this stage in my life I would consider it and hope I had some choice in locations. I am in a senior level IC role and know I still have some value so please don't say they "don't care" as I don't believe that's the case across the board.
For those that are unaware the last listing I had seen for location were the following: Phoenix, Dallas, Des Moines, Charlotte, Minneapolis, NY/NJ, St Louis and can't recall the 7th..
