Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Pending Delivery Package

FedEx alerted me that I have a package coming on Thursday, 10/8. I have not purchased anything. I can not identify who the sender is on the website.

Could this be the health care package that team members are supposed to be receiving? Why wait to be delivered on 10/8?

Or could this be the displacement notice? It is falling the pattern of meeting with management on Tuesday and getting the package 1-2 days later.

Has anyone else out there who signed up for fedex alerts received a pending package deliver for 10/8??

It’s not a lay-off notice. I guarantee it. Notice happens before the package arrives and the notice dates for this month are 10/13 and 10/27. I am on the displacements team so I can tell you this with certainty.

For the umpteenth time, you are not going to get a layoff FEDEX package first without being notified first from your manager or h/r!

it's not a displacement package; they don't send those out until you've been notified. It's more than likely the "care package" (ie mask) that WF was sending to all who normally went to an office location.
