Unconscious bias training for management

Well, here it is now a requirement for us. Yawn. More wasted time in dumb “training “:

I love both my conscious and unconscious biases. They've served me well.

I'm not changing either of them.

If that is what they want us to do to continue to pay us, so be it. This place is too dysfunctional to care.

I have zero problem with it, and I think it should absolutely be required for managers (and preferably everyone). I am a little bit annoyed that I already took it during the summer and now have to do it again.

Replying to @znq.

Wells Fargo is not teaching Critical Race Theory.
Wells Fargo is not teaching Critical Race Theory.
Wells Fargo is not teaching Critical Race Theory.
Wells Fargo is not teaching Critical Race Theory.
Wells Fargo is not teaching Critical Race Theory.

We get it, you don't like brown people, just say that, and stop making up indendiary garbage.

Maybe I should repost this in Russian...

Galloreese sent an email that managers had to take this again, even if done before to help prepare for year end reviews. The "training" is already pointless and making people take it again after they were already proactive in getting it done before just goes to further show how disorganized and short sighted this operating committee is.

Last time I checked we have direct access to the Fed window, therefore we do business with the Government. This modified Critical Race Theory Training is therefore illegal via the Executive Order that was signed. Our HR needs a serious wake up call and stop being SJW’s or they will subject the firm to greater scrutiny and fines. I’ve lost over $100k in fee business because of the id–ts that run this place and can’t keep our names out of the headlines. Chuck or Barry if you see this CLEAN HOUSE! Stop recycling failed people from Wells. Give them the boot. Time to change culture and upsetting more than half of our client base. Start with Jon Weiss and work down the chain of corruption and incompetence. Hayes in charge of WIM is like banging your head continuously and wondering why it hurts.

Only those incapable of self reflection and/or privilege would think so.

They lost me when the training asked if I could see a duck or a rabbit when I looked at a picture. Really? So waterEd down and insulting to all.

Just wait - the 4th in the series is a 7.5 hour CLASS. And no this class is not the same as the original. If you took the September class you have to repeat it with the updated material. Thanks UpChuck!

This has been required training all year the only difference now is it it due Oct 13 instead of December 31. And for us managers who got our training done early we now get to take it a second time. I'd say this is either related to performance reviews needing to be completed by 10/14 or our CEO recently making headlines. Probably the latter.

Management needs it more than anyone since they make all of the decisions. Chuckles needs it as well.

Is this mandatory for Chuckles too?
