And you are right: I do have two emails, precisely to help people stay anonymous and to protect my email system. Twitter is sc-aped by bots/others, so I use the protonmail on it so that all the lazy phishing attempts go there. Additionally, protonmail offers end-to-end encryption, as well as other security features which can help protect sources.
