I was let go yesterday morning and I still haven’t received my package yet. Not surprising from Wells. Am I supposed to ask for my own package to officially lay myself off? Lol

Can i call HR and request a package too? Ill say i layed myself off
Severance is standard for WF - 2 weeks for every year of service, AFTER the 60-day notice period. I had 13 years in, so I will get salary and almost all benefits until the middle of July 2021.
What department and (general) location are you in?
I was also let go yesterday, but had confirmation that the package via email can take up to 48 hours
It'll arrive. If it doesn't come by end-of-day Thursday, just reach out to HR. It seems like there were a lot of layoffs yesterday – certainly enough that they probably handled mailing packages as a batch process. If they were mailed end of day, you'll probably receive shortly.
It's in WF's best interest to get the documentation to you ASAP.
@svz
That process has changed and makes sense to reduce risk. Folks still get paid 60 days minimum.
I as well was told first thing yesterday my position has been eliminated effective immediately, and that HR would notify me via personal email. Today still no word!!
From what I've heard, the packages are sent out within 48 hours. Should get something today or tomorrow.
Per the handbook, all displacements are getting 60 days working notice and severance is based on your years of service. 2 weeks of pay per year of service, with a minimum severance package of 8 weeks.
Are they offering any type of severance ?
It will come in a couple of days. It will have all your pay info listed and insurance options like cobra. It also has other people’s general demographics like their age in relation to yours in an effort to show they didn’t discriminate against you specifically.
