I retired in 2018 and it was bad at that time too.

I'm from mortgage and also retired. I feel bad for all of you with the unknown. Retirement is ok, pretty boring as I miss the crazy while working. Cobra for if I wanted to keep my health care is 899 per month so that was a no. I will also put this out there, please.remember your cash balance plan which is not your 401k. You can roll that into an IRA if you want.
