I feel like the chat rooms here what people post useless posts, like I am going to lunch, I have to use restroom, going to dinner, picking up kids, and so many
more. Perhaps they believe this is collaboration but none of those posts did i find anything useful. None of them were actionable their just random updates
and a lot of noise interupting the day. Imagine receiving multiple updates of people telling you how great they are –> me, me, me. You just read through tons of this
stuff every day. In order for you to keep up you have to starting about how great you are too, even though none of this pushes an actual project forward.
They are talking about adding like capability so will feed into your annual goals assessment, which seems like a popularity contest to me, also it would be automated with rpa or similar so your rating will be determined by a bot.
Seems like no one is listening and everyone is shouting and nothing is getting done in these chat rooms.
In the chat rooms I did find out I was working on a project and 7 other people are
working on the same thing. In fact, the project i mentioned then got cancelled as they said they did not want to build this thing even. Very strange way to get this information.
