There is a posting designed to expand outsourcing testing jobs to India and Philippines. Anyone have insight?

Automated testing just needs the scripts created using the user stories..
Everybody at that level are short timers. They get out before the excrement hits the rotary oscillator.
@4blp+17NiGXiH and that's how you know CS and his team are short-timers. They will not be around when the chickens come home to roost.
I know a bunch of business analysts who were let go in the last wave so apparently they think knowledge of the business is not all that important anymore.
In case that didn’t come across, that was sarcasm. It will come back and bite them big time. Those people were there for a reason, apparently lost to those who do not really know how things work.
Lol testing is not just executing scripts they didn’t write .... I’ve been in a “testing” department for 10 plus years . I need knowledge of several business lines , build and maintain relationships with business contacts to discover and disentangle the needs to the business. I often play the role of Project Manger , Text Coordinator , Tester , and often times I need to help the developers figure what and not to fix an issue or develop a new process .. I work daily with off shore “testers” who will just follow a script and get stuck at night due to the lack of understanding of the process or expectation of the code...
This is in both Agile and Waterfall projects...
The business is already worried that the shift to agile will leave big gaps as regression testing is not a priority and the majority of defects are found during regression..
That'd be awesome if the bank outsourced literally everything.
Soon the US based process owners will have to be up at night to comply with tests out of India
why would this be shocking? Testing is quite literally FOLLOWING SCRIPTS (they don't write) to test repeatable processes. A robot could perform those tasks.
Lots of offshoring is happening behind the scenes. I don’t know where Ind Testing falls to tell you if true but I see no reason why it isn’t true. I know of multiple areas starting the process right now. Also, there is no reason to post this 3 times. Settle down.
No. Post a link to the posting please.
