Why the rush to finish year end self evaluations early in October

My manager had me turn in my yr end evaluation in early October...but I still haven't had my one-on-one with my manager about my yr end performance review

I'm wondering is any of the extra work or lack of work I'm doing in November and December make it in their yr end review. I find it strange WF made us complete our yr end self evaluation so early in October.

Yes, they will be one of the hardest hit. Along with HR, Legal, Marketing, SORM, Technology, WIM, CIB, and Auto.

Anyone hear if service centers will be affected?

Performance evaluations and forced rankings are being used to determine who to include in layoffs.

Dear Lord, this has been addressed in town halls, AMAs, and on this board at nauseum.

Main reason is so feedback can be delivered sooner and 2021 objectives can be set sooner. As an added bonus you'll get any merit increases or bonus payouts about a month earlier.

You will review your year end performance in Jan. Any merit increases/bonuses take effect in Feb

Leaders are currently on calibration session 72 to make sure everyone gets in the forced ranking curve, pardon me, guided distribution bell curve. The amount of time I have spent on this is ridiculous.
