I don't think I have ever seen a weaker CEO. When will the Board realize they have made a mistake and cut their losses. Charlie has botched everything over the year and politicized his position.
He was annoyed at the inconvenience. Strictly numbers guy cutting the dead bits to heal the good bits. Don't bother me with the people bits.
Charlie is about Charlie. He is about optics and is an empty suit. He stays in NYC because he loves to be seen around town with his JP buds and run elbows with power and entertainment. He was the kid who was made fun of in school and is still the person looking in from the outside in NYC social circles.
That was an hour I’ll never get back. The message to all you non-people of color was pretty clear....you lose this job you’re not getting another one here.
I think he thinks he’s doing a good job with leadership. He completely misses the mark EVERY time.
That meeting was for him to check a box. If he says some key words like candor I guess he feels he’s doing great.
