There is quite a bit of denial here. Yes this is old, but not a one of these many scandals have been addressed, let alone corrected, the guilty fully terminated, restitution provided to clients and increased oversight. The most unbelievable aspect of all is that the general question here seems to be when we will be out from under our cap and things can be normal.

Things will never be “normal” again. Wells is a corrupt tangled ball of string that is going to take a decade to unravel and is only being kept on life support because Wells is too big to not unravel. We will be sold piecemeal under scrutiny (hopefully) of our regulators.

People here seem blissfully unaware of their participation over these many decades of bank wide scandals. The fact that those from many merged institutions are all pointing fingers at one another to this day shows how profoundly evil this company was/is.

Wells is a world scale problem. Kapisch?

Not old material. Just an old article.

And when I read this: I laughed to myself knowing that someone here would say BBB is useless. That’s what people say when they no longer have the A+ rating. So predictable 🙄.

“....I’m GLAD my kid got kicked out of school. I always thought that school was soooo useless.“

This article is 4 years old. Not saying it's not relevant, but let's focus on the moment, not dredging up old material.

@tce+17Fte8Su try four years.
Also, the reason for the F rating and not being accredited - 229 unanswered complaints (ones filed with the BBB) and government penalties.
