Don't be silly. WF is still one of the biggest banks in the world. It's not going anywhere.
Only problem is that you are thinking they will GIVE severance packages going forward. I hope they do....but doubtful.
Heck no, I'm planning my exit for after I get a severance package. Be ready for the future, but wait until they have to pay for your exit.
