Certain segments of community and business banking have undergone some cuts but the big ones are still to come. Lots of “customers first” initiatives that are eerily similar in structure to the long rumored branch transformation. Also seeing an more rapid increase in branch closures (we knew it was coming but they’re definitely going faster than they were pre-COVID).

I mean is Mary Mack's area done with layoffs? If I wanted to know if she was 'done' i would not ask like that, I would have asked has Mary Mack been fired. My question is: The area that is under Mary Mack, are they done? Are they through their layoffs? I heard banking went first which is why i'm clarifying.

Meaning are the Layoffs for her area completed?

I think the ignorant poster meant to ask about ‘span of control’ vs chain of command.

She still has 85,022 team members - why would you think that?
