Has anyone filed a claim with the EEOC while working here?

I have filed one. I don’t expect much because not much seems to phase Wells, despite all the fines. They just keep cutting and cutting, and I expect to find my way into those cuts now, despite being a high performer.

All I know is the white guy brought in to cut us all got twice as much (36 million) as the white guys before him, while we got next to nothing for the 10+ years the economy was booming.

Looking forward to my candid diversity lecture from aforementioned old rich white guy at the Halloween Town Hall. Best of luck to you all. There are still lots of good jobs for other companies with some integrity remaining.

I attempted. The EEOC office asked me if i needed this job because WF's legal group directs your boss to find ways to get rid of you and if not, they have almost unlimited resources to fight you in court and drain your savings. Basically just find another job.

Given the over-the-top focus on diversity, an EEOC claim will be difficult.

Yes. But not against Wells. An agency that's meant to look like it something, but does nothing. Don't get your hopes up. In the area where I filed they are still working 2019 cases...it takes a very long time.

I studied employment law. It is extremely difficult to prove a EEOC case. It could take years. Good luck!

OP here. Forced ranked with proof to substantiate claim and fall into a discriminatory class and raised allegation and now There is retaliation and bully behavior and lies. No formal PIP. ER does not care even with tons of proof. They will say unsubstantiated and it’s confidential. Agree a lay-off would be a blessing and not sure what the process is. No accountability for horrible bosses. Force stack goes against WF policy.

If you file while employed and then get terminated you might have a retaliation claim.

I filed one and they got out of it by laying me off. If they have already written you up and put you on a PIP, then you are screwed. I did manage to get the surgery I needed before the layoff so it could have been worse. I was also able to draw unemployment at the end of my severance. Funny part is that they changed the job titles and are now hiring back many that were laid off.

Following this thread, working under horrible circumstances and ER is doing nothing about it. If somebody could help outline the process including should you do it while you work here or wait for the inevitable you’re fired for no reason. A layoff would be a blessing but also want to stand up for what is right.
