A realist is a person who recognizes a situation as it is and is prepared to deal with it accordingly.
A yes man is a weak person who always agrees with their political leader or their superior at work.
We are in a dire situation at Wells Fargo, working for a scandal-plagued bank who has vowed to lay off 1 in 4 workers in the middle of a global pandemic. I am glad to keep my job for as long as possible, but I am not going to act like some weird Stepford Wife and preach the wonders of a new management team who is betraying the employees of Wells Fargo.
