Those news articles that named the
lay-off.com gave away our little secret. Multiple team members of mine have approached me asking about this site. It will be nice to have a venue that more people will chime in on.

This site has been the only way myself and others in my group had any insight as to what was really going on behind the scenes, and what to expect. There are many speculation comments, but also tons of factual comments I’ve read over many months that turned out to be spot on. The date of 10/27 as a big day for layoffs, for example. 100% true in my case. After over 20 years, I and my whole group was let go yesterday. People can take what’s shared with a grain of salt, but overall should pay attention to the recurring themes of comments. Reviews, 7:1, group conf calls for layoffs, and dates of when. All rang true for some of us.
@hce - The "newspapers" don't get their info from this site, the reporters post their contact info and ask for updates.
That's a big difference.
found it found that one of the "newspapers" thought this was a credible source to list. They have no clue if people posting are real employees, disgruntled former or have any actual knowledge of what's happening. I do however agree that it would be nice to have more employees aware of the site and able to share anonymously. I didn't know about this site until a couple of months ago personally.
This site might not be always correct but at least it's more than c we get from our managers.
Who said they are worried about this site?
The layoff is not a secret site. This site is well known. Worrying about this site is not really the best thing to do.
