when will Technology be cut?
Why is the 11/17 date now believable? It seems like “the date” has been missed 100% of the time for some lame excuse.
Risk and compliance spans and layers cuts were supposed to be 10/27 however, they did not get their final choices to HR on time so now it’s pushed to the next round of 11/17. That of course could change again but it is the next scheduled layoff date for whichever groups gets theirs to HR to meet that date. Good luck.
Compliance is seeing a lot of org changes right now. Some teams are growing and others are shrinking significantly. The writing seems to be on the wall that the smaller teams with only one manager reporting to another manager are either going to be broken up or displaced. There is a very hostile environment in compliance right now. Not at all a happy place to be. My understanding from senior leadership is that decisions have been made regarding who will be displaced. Original timeframe for displacements was initially last week but pushed to this week due to HR delays.
How do we know compliance & risk will be on 11/17?
and then come 11/18 the date will change.

Roemer’s deputy CCO also left and I assume the position will not be filled. It was clear something was off when Roemer left and they brought in someone from outside of Compliamce for the interim rather than elevating the deputy CCO.
