Doesn't feel like the same company that I started with over 10 years ago who preached PACA. The culture as a whole is definitely going down hill.

While I always thought that the "team member" verbiage was meaningless and unnecessary, it seems like a weird thing to prioritize the expungement of this term across the organization when there is so much more important work to be done.
Team member was a joke anyway.

They've been adopting JPM-type policies and culture for years, before Charlie came.
I know about this. All mention of team member is being replaced with employee. I don't think it is related to the layoff situation.
