Never said they didn't mean anything to me. Sure there are high paying consulting out there but not as many gigs as you think. No the industry is not hiring it's contracting. BTW, I'm over 50 and have worked in 5 industries for 10 different orgs.
What I am saying is people in their late 50's early 60's that have been here for most of their career are going to have a very hard time finding something.

I guess the concepts of domain expertise and industry experience don't exist to you. There's plenty of high paying consulting work out there. No need to concern yourself with us old folks. We have good contacts throughout the industry and there's plenty of work to go round.
Look! Folks that have spent 20 to 30 years here are not going to have a lot to offer a new org. The tech is old and the culture of decision by consensus and dozens of meetings with 30 people won't fly anywhere else.
yea this company s—s for sure!
anyways i just got a few offers so will be leaving! Guess i wont get any severance, :(
Seriously..?
Sorry to say this but If you think Wells Fargo is the only company that you can work for in your life than your career deserves RIP.

You misspelled classless.
2k employees being laid off a month isn't very many across the entire enterprise.
Stay classy.
