So they have started back filling sm an as roles. But there is a vast majority of dm/gm roles that are acting and have been like that for over a year now. It does not take a rocket scientist to realize 2+2=4.

DMs just get paid to run their mouths, while sitting in the comfort of their homes & get pair a six figure pay. Politics, I know this person, I know that person, who knows who as per say, lets keep it the money flow to us and pass the pressure onto the frontline workers. Wow, working from home & running ur mouth does get u places I guess “Nowadays”.

There are DMs in neighboring markets that manage 4 stores. What's the point? Time to consolidate DMs and trim some more fat.
They should get rid of the lousy DMs- No real need for them...
The advent of email basically ceased to make them necessary. VZW- get rid of that middle layer of waste and pass the savings on to the consumer or return more value to share holders.
