Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Why stay?

Whining is getting old. No one forces unhappy employees to stay. If you decide to stay then get over it. If you want to leave then leave. Empty threads are useless and laughable.

People love this company and are upset that it’s crumbling. They have a right to be upset. Finding solace in others is fine. Coming on here, reading the rumors and finding out more from THIS website than the company give ANYONE THE RIGHT to be mad. Leadership botched this -badly.

So if I read your post correctly, someone made an innocuous comment that you don't agree with and you're crying first amendment / censorship? Maybe you're missing the whole "abridging the freedom of speech" part of the amendment. People can comment as they wish and you're free to agree or ignore it. Maybe it's you who's not from America.

@OP imagine being so irritated by people venting on a public forum that you have to create another thread on the forum to whine about it. I'm sorry you do not have the will power or ability to simply skip and not read threads. It must be an incredible burden for you.

I agree as well - we're not trees and we don't have roots. Not happy, then leave.

OP, I agree. I wish they would get the f— out. Yes, it's a pandemic but they want to lose their jobs anyway.

@OP+17AHuHsD, people like you are likely not from America.

You sound like you want to censor people because they dont think on a topic the same way as you. It is healthy to debate different topics in different areas of the world. Just because you are against some people's views doesnt mean yours is right either.

As we see on this site there is already censorship enacted when they delete peoples posts. Is that aligned with First Ammendment Rights? Well, the sad thing is really this First Ammendment focusing on the Government censoring people, but a private company like this can likely get away with it. Section 230 gives tech companies more protections on their content.

THing is you are not this company who owns this site nor are you the Government. So you would have no right to censor people on the basis you dont agree with someone.

I think if you complain long enough all of your problems will go away.

To the OP.

Some people look at a job over the long run. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not.

People here complain because the bad run has been going on too long, and management is doing nothing to make any of us think things will improve.

Not everyone is in a job or location or life situation that enables them to just quit.

Again, to the OP, you should be a mature adult and know these things.

Grow up, junior.

I’m at a point where I don’t even downtick. I give upticks for good posts, well-intentioned posts, informed posts, posts I agree with. I skim over and ignore the rest.
