leadership b–ches that we are 10 bill in the hole...
you have 3 physical branches within 5 miles radius...
so what do you do??? oh you build a new branch within that 5 mile radius....
so now you have 4 physical branches in less than a mile of each other...

In what area of the country are so many branches within walking distance to each other?
Guys, nothing they do makes any d*mn sense ever. You can look around and tell them where to cut costs and who to can and there is never any conversation with anyone that matters or has half a brain. They just roll out decisions and there is never any explanation. It’s the WF way. I’m pretty sure it’s buried in the EMPLOYEE handbook that whatever is most illogical, is what we will try first.
If they're leased, how long is the lease?
Is it maybe cheaper to keep something open than close it and pay out a lease?
I think we have bad management, I mean clueless, but I don't doubt they can do math.
nope the buildings are not leased... some are left over from wachovia / TU days they are all owned...
Are the other buildings leased vs the one in construction which would be owned?
Without more location information we don't really know if the OP has a point or not.
How many people are in the area? Are the locations in the middle of a busy downtown?
I know we have too many branches in some parts of Phoenix, not saying the OP Is wrong, but this site gets so many rants without any context.
I reviewed the OCC site expecting more branch closures announced 9/19 but it didn't happen.
Wells Fargo closed zero and opened 4!
This place is nearly impossible to figure out....
just take out the bonuses, sign up bonuses, and deal compensation for new hired top notch executives - that will extremely help in cutting the losses of WF
Huh? I thought they were closing branches.
Who goes into a branch? Seriously...
Someone probably got a bonus for it
