For his racist statement. They paid him way too much money so I'm sure it'll just blow off.

That statement was not racist. Sorry to say it is based in reality. African American population apps 42 million in USA. Do the demographics and narrow down to age group and education needed and the pool by actual numbers is small. Add to that all of the companies competing for the same few people. Sorry to bust the SJW bubble but, what he said is based in fact.
Interesting... how is Warren intending to monetize this and will it be filtered through AOC?
Not sure of your definition of "under fire" but just Google WF. That story pretty much takes up the first page of results. Elizabeth Warren and AOC have both called him out. The board isn't going to say anything publicly but I'm sure they were bummed – who knows, maybe they told him to get a statement out pronto. I'm certain they approved the one he issued, either way. They won't fire him, and restart their search for our 5th CEO in about as many years – unless he fails to cut costs or get the asset cap lifted.
Get real. He was just being honest with why he was having trouble meeting the activists expectations. He is now weakly bowing down to every last little demand they have. For any expectations on how many people to expect in a given company position of any type of race category should correspond directly to the number of qualified people in the industry of that race category. Otherwise, it's like expecting 50% of a hospital to have male nurses without actually looking at how many out there have nursing degrees and nursing experience.
Charlie is not in the real world and still cannot accept that there other people, other than white boys, that are talented and can make a difference. He may hired people of color recently, but hopefully you are paying them fairly or comparable to your buddies in the country club. You are overpaid and cannot even be sensitive to these matters
I say we all have a national walkout from every LOB until this Elite Racist out of a job! Do you really want a hypocrite racist to be the one making the decisions that will ultimately determine our futures?
If Charlie is able to create a high-level, pretend job, reporting to him...and then fill it with Jamie Dimon’s son-in-law, then the BOD really isn’t asking him any questions. I would love someone to ask Charlie how he couldn’t find a person of color in the “talent pool” to fill a job with no specified job duties, and the only requirement is 7 years of experience in financial services or consulting. How did he get away with that one? Meanwhile, he’s making requirements for everyone else on diversity. Hey Charlie, hiring someone from a different country club doesn’t count as diversity. No, he just needed to return the favor of unearned privilege Back to Jamie.
You mean you didn’t see his non apology on teamworks, his non apology on Twitter - “saying I’m sorry y’all misinterpreted what I said” bs and his nonapology last minute live call to the BAA TMN Friday am? Yeah it’ll prob blow over - I know though I won’t forget. I’m not surprised - systemic racism is real and not new - and nothing is really gonna change anytime soon. I mean come on it has been building up for the last 400 years... I’d love to hear Charlie explain that he actually understands inequity and system racism. For example - the only reason Charlie has a career is because of Jamie Dimon. Charlie and his bandwagon of cronies do the same b—s— - give each other these jobs which they are all probably unqualified for (at least at some point they were) - line their pockets, lay off employees - working class people and leave behind a more f—ed up company and move on to the next. At the end of the day this practice is not just happening at Wells Fargo, it is happening everywhere.
